BIG THINK Features Andrew Cohen

A few weeks ago Andrew Cohen, founder of What Is Enlightenment? magazine and its parent organization, EnlightenNext, was invited to the BigThink.com studios in New York, where he was interviewed on a number of different topics. I featured BigThink in our “Sites & Blogs” section in WIE’s current issue, and when I wrote the blurb, the site was just getting started. Now it features over 10,000 “ideas,” covering every topic imaginable, voiced by everyone from Richard Branson to John McCain to Sam Harris to Arianna Huffington. In the clip below, Andrew speaks about the cultural revolution that those of us at EnlightenNext are committed to bringing about — pushing the leading edge of consciousness and culture in order to pull all other stages of human development forward:

Hey C4, you’re quick on the uptake! I saw a little while ago that you also linked on Gaia to the Templeton Big Questions thing. :)
I’m hitting the blog circuit today, while listening to the EnlightenNext maha uber broadcast (and manning shifts in our calling bank here). Now that my major WIE deadlines for this month have been met (as of last night), I might even get a chance to respond, at last, to the New Atheism discussion we got going on your blog a few…weeks…ago. :)
haha. not quick. i attribute it to serendipity. i like finding information at the right time ;) speaking of which, i’m currently listening to Linus Roache and Siona on EnlightenNext broadcast. sweet.
looking forward to your take on New Atheism. in the meantime, you might want to check out Sam Harris and Ayaan Hirsi Ali on Big Think to get a sense of where they stand on the issue :)
